Job Purpose

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated individual to join the Compliance team. Successful applicants will assist in day-to-day operational matters including documentation, reconciliation, and process optimization. This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain a broader understanding of how a fund operates from the operations, trading, and compliance perspective.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in AML/CFT implementation including strategies, systems, and controls to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support compliance processes by performing AML/CFT checks, due diligence on prospects/clients, and monitoring client activity.
• Contribute to building plans for the Compliance & Risk team to ensure timely execution of regulatory commitments.
• Prepare and conduct presentations on various Risk and Compliance matters to employees.

Qualifications & Skills

• Undergraduate in Finance/Economics/Statistics with excellent grades.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience in designing and developing systems.
• Proactive, meticulous, with attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills to interact with various levels of stakeholders.
• Keen interest in governance, risk, and compliance in the financial services industry.
