User Agreement

1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to WorkJoy Job Portal! This User Agreement (the "Agreement") sets out the terms and conditions under which you may use our website and services (the "Services"). The Services are owned and operated by WorkJoy Management PTE. LTD. ("WorkJoy" or "we").

By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the Services.

2. Services Offered

WorkJoy Job Portal is a platform that allows job seekers to find and apply for jobs and employers to post job vacancies and find candidates. We provide a platform for connection, but we are not an employment agency and do not participate in or monitor the hiring process.

3. Your Account and Responsibilities

• Account Creation: You must create an account to use most of our Services. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and you agree to provide accurate and truthful information during registration.
• Security: You're responsible for keeping your account password confidential. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, you must notify us immediately.
• Content: You are solely responsible for all content you submit to the Services, including CVs, job postings, and messages. You agree that your content will be accurate, lawful, and will not infringe on the rights of others.

4. Code of Conduct

You agree to use the Services in a professional and responsible manner. You must not:

• Use the Services for any illegal or unauthorised purpose.
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
• Harass, bully, or abuse other users.
• Upload viruses or other malicious code.
• Violate any applicable laws, rules, or regulations.

5. Intellectual Property

The Services and all of their original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of WorkJoy Management PTE. LTD. and its licensors. Your use of the Services grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Services solely for your personal and non-commercial use, subject to the terms of this Agreement.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We are not responsible for the accuracy of job listings, the suitability of candidates, or any hiring decisions made by users.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WorkJoy Management PTE. LTD., its directors, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the Services.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless WorkJoy Management PTE. LTD. and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) that arise from your use of the Services or your breach of this Agreement.

9. Changes to this Agreement

We reserve the right to modify this Agreement at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the updated Agreement on our website. Your continued use of the Services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

10. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore. Any disputes arising from this Agreement will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
